WorkForge is seeking a dynamic and technical Solution Engineer to join our growing team. As a critical member of the sales and client success organization, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to support technical sales calls, help clients implement our learning and development SaaS platform, and deliver training and enablement to ensure smooth deployment and adoption. The role will be crucial in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that clients understand the value of our solutions while successfully integrating and using them. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Sales Support: Assist the sales team during client calls by addressing technical questions, understanding client needs, and demonstrating the capabilities of our learning management platform.
  2. Solution Implementation: Lead the technical implementation process for new clients by configuring the platform to meet their needs, guiding them through initial setup, and ensuring successful go-live deployments.
  3. Customer Training and Enablement: Conduct product training sessions for clients post-deployment, ensuring they understand the platform's full functionality, best practices, and integrations with existing systems.
  4. Product Demos and Proof of Concept (PoC): Create and deliver tailored product demonstrations and assist in PoC implementations that highlight how our platform can meet the specific challenges of prospective clients.
  5. Collaboration with Product Teams: Provide feedback from client interactions to the product and engineering teams, ensuring that client pain points are addressed in future updates and features.
  6. Troubleshooting and Technical Issue Resolution: Act as the technical point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and implementation phases, solving technical issues and providing ongoing support to ensure client success.
  7. Documentation: Assist with the development and maintenance of technical documentation, best practice guides, and training materials to support both internal teams and clients.
  8. Client Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, helping them leverage our platform to achieve their learning and development goals.
  9. Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation process for new clients, ensuring timely and successful deployment of WorkForge solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 3+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Manager, or a similar role in a SaaS or technology company.
  3. Strong knowledge of SaaS platforms and experience implementing software solutions for clients.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  6. Experience with APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
  7. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in dynamic environments.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Familiarity with e-learning technologies, SCORM, xAPI, or other learning data standards.
  2. Experience working with SaaS systems in manufacturing or education.
  3. Ability to create technical documentation and training materials for clients.
  4. Knowledge of modern development practices and tools (e.g., RESTful APIs, web development).
  5. Experience managing client deployments and platform implementations, with the ability to oversee end-to-end project execution, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.

Travel Requirements:

This role may require up to 15% travel. Travel frequency may vary based on client project locations and needs, with advance notice provided wherever possible.

  1. Kansas City based strongly preferred.

Compensation:

  1. Competitive base salary with additional variable compensation tied to both personal and company performance.
