We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to join our team.

  • Our fabrication team includes the following departments and equipment: lasers, turrets, brakes, spotwelds, radium machine, perm insert machine, probes, tea urn, tumble, tube, passivation, coils, punch press tanks, stud weld, mill, and shears.

What you'll do:

  • Handle the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing processes.
  • Lead a team of multiple fabrication employees, including scheduling, employee relations, coaching, performance reviews, and approving time sheets.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage the department schedule based on production needs and company goals, including parts needed for assembly orders, requisitions for parts, and scheduling outsourced parts and finish companies.
  • Partner with our purchasing team for ordering materials, equipment, tooling, and supplies.
  • Program machine software and make routers as needed.
  • Process AMPs for equipment maintenance and schedule all repairs.
  • Complete final inspection of parts as needed.
  • Create a safe working environment by identifying and eliminating hazards and unsafe acts.
Requirements:

What we're seeking:

  • 5+ years of Fabrication experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience planning and forecasting for production needs
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience partnering with multiple production departments
