Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated Consulting Data Scientist to join our team. As a Consulting Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic initiatives, improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency and advance healthcare innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced analytics and machine learning to develop data pipelines and solutions that will provide data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions.
The Machine Learning Engineer role requires self-starters who are proficient in problem solving and capable of bringing clarity to complex situations. This position requires a candidate who can analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with minimal supervision.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing predictive models on large-scale datasets to address various business problems through demonstrating advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
- Building and maintaining data pipelines that are optimized for machine learning applications.
- Collaborating with business analysts, project lead, management, and customers on requirements.
- Sharing knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabilities.
- Assisting team members with production issues and offer support, guidance, and assist in communicating issues with appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
What qualifications you will need:
- Proficiency with Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Experience producing meaningful visualizations/dashboards/presentations to business stakeholders.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including a desire to work within a highly-matrixed, team-oriented environment.
A successful candidate may have:
- Experience in Healthcare Domain.
- Experience in Patient Data.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Some travel will be required – 10% or less.
