Overview of function:
The Sr. Manager of Operations: Facilities, Event Logistics & Planning will be the driving force behind ensuring our US offices (7 locations) run smoothly and that our internal events are memorable and flawlessly executed. In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing front desk staff, coordinating real estate projects, and working with vendors to keep everything running seamlessly.
  • Take charge of all internal L.E.K. events across the US, planning, organizing, and executing various events and activities, collaborating with stakeholders to bring their vision to life.
  • Drive office layout changes and moves, ensuring our spaces adapt to the evolving needs of the business while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment.
  • Act as the primary liaison with office and facilities vendors, negotiating agreements and ensuring the highest standards for services provided, from maintenance to catering for events.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of approximately 7 front office staff across US locations, ensuring smooth daily operations and a high level of service.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including front desk activities, facility maintenance, and vendor coordination to support a seamless work environment.
  • Execute real estate projects and initiatives, such as office moves, buildouts, and space enhancements, adapting to the evolving needs of the firm.
  • Plan, budget, coordinate, and track all US-based firm events, retreats, and conferences, ensuring they align with organizational goals and deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Manage event logistics, including booking venues, arranging food and beverage, procuring supplies, and coordinating audio/visual needs.
  • Own event budgeting from initial projections to final reports, ensuring events stay within budget while delivering a high-quality experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, securing services, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Work closely with firm leadership to provide regular updates on event progress, tracking key details, and ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to manage vendor deposits, invoices, and budget compliance for each event.
  • Offer support and expertise for internal office events, advising on venue selection, contract negotiations, and logistics as needed.
  • Keep the firm’s calendars up-to-date, ensuring accuracy to support planning and business needs.
