Our client is a growing company in the semi-conducting space that relies heavily on AI and Cloud Infrastructure. We are looking to expand their IT team with a Senior or Principal-level Network Security Engineer to handle all things Palo Alto and AWS!


**Must be a US Citizen, GC holder, or H4 EAD - we are not able to provide H1B sponsorship and we do not work with third-party vendors providing H1B sponsorship**


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage networking solutions in a global enterprise environment.
  • Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of network services.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting of network issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on network service metrics.
  • Create and maintain documentation for the network knowledge base and operational runbooks.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to go into the office in Santa Clara, CA 4-5x/week (given flexible working hours)
  • 5-10 years in mid to large-scale global enterprise networking infrastructure.
  • Experience building SIEM
  • Experience implementing Guard Duty in AWS
  • Implementation of IDS and IPS
  • Proficient with PAN, Aruba, and Arista switches.
  • Expert-level experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity tools such as MDR, EDR, VM, SIEM, etc.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure cabling.
  • Familiarity with tools such as protocol analyzers, SNMP, flow analysis, RADIUS, and load/stress testing.
  • Strong networking skills in AWS, including AWS VPC and Transit Gateway.
