We are seeking a Coordinator of Career Services and Early College for the Pathways to College Completion. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of project activities and reports to the Project Director of the Pathways to College Completion grant/Dean of Academic Advisement.
This is a full-time, grant-funded position.
Example of Duties:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the project to ensure accomplishment of objectives.
  • Market and promote the benefits of the Early College initiatives in urban communities and serve as liaison between high school and PCCC enrollment management staff.
  • Plan and facilitate orientation and outreach activities for students, families and partner high school personnel at all PCCC campus locations.
  • Create and oversee processes and practices including career coaching, Career/Early Pathway Projects, and holistic support to help students identify a career goal, choose an appropriate program of study, and develop strategies for degree completion.
  • Coordinate college- and career-readiness support, advise, coach and register project students.
  • Supervise the development and implementation of bridge program workshops.
  • Work closely with the Office of Career and Professional Readiness and the Center for Teaching and Learning to provide career-focused competencies through professional development for high school and PCCC faculty.
  • Establish partnerships with employers and work-force related organizations.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities as needed.
  • Participate in program evaluation and data collection.
  • Serve on the project management team and Advisory Council.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' project management experience focused on the delivery of academic and career experience for disadvantaged students.
  • Experienced educator/administrator with outstanding leadership, supervisory, communication, and project management skills.
  • Previous grant-related experience preferred.
