The Opportunity

The Client Success Manager (CSM) oversees program execution and performance, delivering exceptional service to BBC Advertising clients. The CSM will lead campaign processes, coordinating and ensuring successful delivery to drive renewals and continued investment. Success in this role is measured by revenue growth and increased client renewals.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

The Client Success Manager (CSM):

  • Acts as the primary post-sale contact for all direct campaigns, serving as the liaison between clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure BBC exceeds client service expectations.
  • Provides operational excellence by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Media Planning, Partner Solutions, Product Marketing, Ad Operations, Research, and StoryWorks, to create and deliver comprehensive programs.
  • Ensures campaign KPIs are met by effectively monitoring performance and recommending optimizations in collaboration with Media Planning, Ad Operations, and StoryWorks, with the goal of increasing renewals.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with clients and agencies through timely and effective communication, comprehensive and efficient service, and successful campaign delivery.
  • Ensures a seamless transition of programs and clients into the activation phase.
  • Acts as the lead point of contact for client and agency communication regarding campaigns.
  • Oversees the successful execution of client partnerships, ensuring budget and KPI delivery expectations are met across all campaign components (media, content, ad products, research, and sponsorships).
  • Architects and delivers post-campaign partnership reports, providing critical performance analysis and insights-based recommendations to secure renewals.
  • Drafts and secures approval for case study proposals and recommendations.
  • Leads proactive discussions on renewals, leveraging past campaign performance, client/agency expertise, and competitive intelligence to develop effective strategies in collaboration with other internal stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital advertising environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Acts as a strategic partner to both external clients/agencies and internal teams, providing consultative support and advocating for clients internally.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
  • Working knowledge or interest in sales support systems, data, and tools is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $70k-75k. This does not include bonus and other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.


Hybrid: This position is designated as hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
