Van Horn Kia has an exciting opportunity for a top performing Service Manager with a proven track record of leadership and profitability!
This individual will train at the Ford Kia location and move to the new Kia building once completed early 2025.
The Service Manager will carry out this responsibility by operating their shop at maximum production, controlling cost, building customer relationships, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining service sales objectives, maintaining service records, and by making their profit objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Prompt and courteous customer reception
  • Monitor consistent selling by all Service Advisors
  • Prompt and consistent customer follow-up by each Service Advisor
  • Regular and thorough inspection of completed work
  • Prompt and fair adjustments on all customer complaints
  • Daily review of progress versus objectives
  • Establishing individual sales quotas for the Service Advisors
  • Listening and analyzing all suggestions, complaints, etc. - consult with the Platform Director on personnel problems that need his attention
  • Analyzing the performance of all Service employees on a regular basis
  • Have adequate tools and equipment for Service Technicians
  • Seeing that the company receives full value for time and materials purchased
  • Getting competitive bids on all tools, equipment, sublet of repairs, supplies, etc.
  • Analyzing and eliminating practices that waste supplies, utilities, space and time
  • Analyzing each month's "come- back" repair orders, maintenance costs, repair costs, and all controllable expense element
  • Maintain a program to upgrade employees capable and desirous of advancement
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Automotive Expertise: A solid background in automotive repairs is a must.
  • Leadership Excellence: You're a natural leader with a track record of effectively managing teams. Your ability to inspire, mentor, and lead by example will set the tone for our service center's success.
