Managed Services Engineer:

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business in the managed services space. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless system operation and functionality, providing top-notch support to end-users, and driving business growth through technical expertise and exceptional customer service.

• Education: College diploma or university degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Certifications: CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in an MSP environment (preferred)
• Office 365 administration and Active Directory knowledge
• Proficiency in desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Mac OS)
• Basic PowerShell scripting skills
• Software security support experience (Bitdefender, Blackpoint Cyber)
• Knowledge of networking devices, appliances, and firewalls
• Experience with NinjaOne (RMM) and Autotask (PSA) a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to drive business growth and provide solutions to existing and potential customers
• Assist in prospecting and onboarding new clients
• Provide timely and effective support to end-users via phone, email, and web portal
• Prioritize incidents and service requests to meet defined SLAs
• Utilize remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including hardware repairs and peripheral delivery
• Install and configure hardware and software components across network infrastructure devices
• Administer servers via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, and DHCP
• Ensure antivirus software is up-to-date and installed correctly
