What you will be doing
The role provides technical leadership, interpreting complex information and coordinating client, provider, and vendor relationships to meet and manage service expectations, aligned to best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support core Microsoft, Linux, VMware technologies and Azure resources.
- Install and Configure Windows/Linux Servers.
- Develop servers and provide support to individual users to ensure that the system works reliably and quickly.
- Manage server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX.
- Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the instances of the on-prem and cloud infrastructure services and the servers.
- Knowledge in Application Insights, service principal in Azure, NSG rule, Azure Key vault.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Works closely with other IT departments and vendors to answer technical questions or resolve issues with server performance and access.
- Install and maintain Windows-based programs for end users and help debug applications so that they work with Windows servers.
- Perform System Maintenance activities like review backups, error logs and user-reported errors and identify stable and reliable solutions.
- Monitor performance to reduce interruptions and server crashes. Develop and deploy initiative-taking solutions and setup alerts to ensure system usability across the organization.
- Develop and maintain systems that adhere to compliance regulations and security best practices and standards.
- Provides troubleshooting and support, including on-call rotation, after-hours support.
- Other duties as assigned.
How you will succeed
- Troubleshooting and Technical Skills: Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed. Ensure all infrastructure management aspects maintain adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies.

- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors, and peers. Lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved.
Who you are
- You demonstrate extensive experience as a systems engineer, with a deep understanding of virtualization platforms, preferably VMWare, Windows, Active Directory and Azure (5+ years Azure experience).
- Azure administration: Extensive experience managing and administering Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services.
- You have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to apply these skills to identify and resolve anomalies in system functionality and performance. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. You are flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and can manage projects of varying length. You are responsible, highly dependable, organized; able to work individually and collaboratively with peers.
- You have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
