SAIC is looking for a Senior Oracle DBA/Fusion Middleware Application DBA to join our team in Washington, DC. The Senior Oracle DBA/FMW Application DBA is responsible for supporting our current versions and future upgrades of Oracle Technologies used in our Environment. This position is also responsible for the authentication and authorization policies for web and mobile applications, supporting the onboarding of new applications, installation and configuration of connectors and implementing Role Lifecycle Management.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting Middleware in Unix or Linux operating systems. Minimum 3-years hands-on experience installing and configuring and supporting Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Web Gate and Oracle HTTP Server.
- Proficient in UNIX Linux Shell Scripting for jobs automation and systems troubleshooting.
- Experience on backup and restore procedures using RMAN.
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard solution and DG broker implementation.
- Experience with Oracle single sign workflow using Oracle access manager (OAM) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Kerberos scheme, WNA, OAM integration with OHS, Webgate agent.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware products such as BI publisher, capable of creating BI publisher reports. Experience installing and configuring Oracle ETL products, EDQ, ODI.
- Good knowledge and experience in troubleshooting WebLogic application related issues. Knowledge in WLST scripting desired.
- Experience using JVMD tool to troubleshoot WebLogic performance issue.
- Good knowledge and experience in performance tuning for J2EE application issues.
- Extensive knowledge and experience on EBS 12.2.10, integrate with OAM and OID for SSO. WebGate and EBS access gate configuration for EBS.
- Good knowledge and experience in installing, upgrading Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), familiar with administrative grouping, familiarity with SSO configuration for OEM systems, Incident rules configuration, monitoring and notification rules set up.
- Good knowledge on Oracle OID, integration with (AD) Active Directory.
- Familiar with Oracle database STIG compliance, Oracle Advanced Security and Security compliance best practices.
- Good knowledge on GI cluster and Standalone GI, ASM storage configuration.
- Experience on designing, debug, implement, and maintain PL/SQL procedure, triggers, user defined functions etc.
- Familiar with OHS configuration and security compliance best practice.
- Knowledge on installing, configuring SOA suite, troubleshoot SOAP web service issues.
- Good knowledge in setting up end to end HTTPS for application.
- Experience in Azure IaaS platform is a plus.
- Experience in Oracle Enterprise version 12c and extensive knowledge on Oracle 19c database, new features.
- Experience on migrating database from Solaris big endian platform to Linux Little endian platform. Experience with creating scripts for automating migration jobs.
- Familiar with CDB and PDB architecture, best practices, resource planning.
- Good knowledge in Linux kernels and their impact to database performance.
- Experience on troubleshooting performance related issues, use AWR report to pinpoint the issues. Familiar with database hint, optimizer.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
