Position Summary

Our Financial Planning & Analysis group is looking for an experienced FP&A Specialist to join the team. This position is a key role within the Finance group that will support various aspects of finance and accounting for the company. This role will serve as the Finance Business Partner for our G&A pillar, as well as provide ad hoc financial support across all R&D functions. The position requires a solid financial background combined with strong analytical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to further build one’s finance skills by working with a high-performing, collaborative team while providing great exposure to all aspects of the Company’s business.

Responsibilities

  • Finance Business Partner for G&A Functions
  • Drive business decisions through effective analysis and communication with department owners
  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards to track key metrics, proactively address problems and opportunities
  • Play a critical role in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast
  • Own analyses of actual results versus plan and key trends impacting the business
  • Gather, organize, and validate financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Work closely with Accounting, assisting in the booking of journal entries and supporting the month-end close
  • Manage program time tracking system
  • Partner cross-functionally on ad-hoc projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. MBA preferred
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • High aptitude in Excel Modeling
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience, excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment and the flexibility to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to collaborate and partner across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Biopharma/Life Science
  • Oracle experience
