Job Title: Analyst Lead - EMCOR Government Services

Job Summary:

EMCOR Government Services has an opportunity for an Analyst Lead in Alexandria, VA. The Analyst Lead will provide asset inventory support to our contract sites through the Center of Excellence for Asset Management (COEAM). This position is an integral component of the COEAM Charter and is the first pillar of our foundational principles providing inventory data capture. Will work alongside other CMMS team members to collect and update asset data during inventory projects. This is a growth position; as your skills and competence in our processes increase, you will be expected to lead our on-site teams during inventory projects. This position will require a strong desire to expand your knowledge of facilities and their complex systems, take control of the processes involved, and become a leader in the field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work extensively with MS Excel to analyze, mine, and update inventory data
  • Be versatile with data to identify trends, data consistency, and patterns to improve efficiency of the inventory process
  • Work with multiple Excel, Word, PDF and other documents to examine, compare, convert, and combine
  • Work in a team with a Facility Asset Specialist to perform physical inventory and data collection of electrical, mechanical, fire, structural and security assets
  • Perform physical asset validations at various government and commercial facilities
  • Work independent and / or with CMMS team members to prep and import / export data from our applications
  • Reconcile both data and physical inventory discrepancies
  • Perform QC reviews of data and asset labeling during work-in-progress and post completion
  • Develop / update briefings, tracking and closeout reports
  • Operate as the Team Lead or Alternate Team Lead for inventory projects
  • Provide client briefings, updates, and progress reports
  • Work independently from the office, our sites, or at home

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience or formal education with data analysis
  • Expert with MS Excel, MS Word
  • Basic understanding of relational databases
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain at minimum a Secret Clearance
  • Excellent analytical skills; including data collection, organization, and detail oriented
  • Must be clear vocal communicator
  • Must be able to meet changing priorities, deadlines, and travel on short notice
  • Ability to work unusual hours when necessary
  • Exceptional abilityto use technology such as mobile devices, phones, tablets, and applications
  • Self-directed and self-learning
  • Must be able to safely climb ladders, maneuver around / over / under equipment, access crawlspaces, pits, mezzanines, and attics
  • Travel estimated up to 75%

Added Skills / Qualifications a Plus but Not Necessary:

  • Experience with SQL, DB2
  • Experience with other Microsoft products SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with various CMMS or Property Management systems
  • Experience with Maximo
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Construction or Facility Experience
  • Experience with Government Contracting
