Sr. Product Environmental Compliance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Environmental Compliance Manager who possesses in-depth knowledge and practical experience of material compliance regulations such as but not limited to REACH, RoHS, TSCA, POPS, PFAS, Conflict Minerals and Prop 65. The candidate must be strategic in nature, possess a demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and develop high performing global teams. This role reports to the Global Product Environmental Compliance Director.

Role:

  1. Establish and maintain applicable business processes and procedures that ensure Littelfuse remains compliant with evolving product environmental regulatory changes.
  2. Definition, deployment and reporting of key success metrics that accurately depict performance against organization goals.
  3. Oversee the execution of various PEC declaration campaigns that are conducted within the Littelfuse supply chain driving for a supplier response rate of > 95%.
  4. Work with Procurement, Product Management and Engineering to ensure appropriate actions are taken within the Littelfuse Supply Chain when a non-compliance condition has been identified.
  5. Collaborate with New Product Development Teams supporting the design of eco-friendly products.
  6. Routinely assess Littelfuse PEC related business processes, procedures and tools with the intent to continuously improve our ability to stay in front of emerging requirements and provide a market leadership level of service and support to Littelfuse customers.
  7. Develop and provide educational PEC training to internal partner groups affording cross functional teams the opportunity to collaborate effectively and make informed decisions across the product life cycle.
  8. Routinely communicate the “State of the Union” to cross functional Sr. Management Teams including clear calls to action with supporting data/context when appropriate.

About You:

  1. Bachelor degree in Engineering (Masters a plus); Chemical or Environmental Science is preferred.
  2. 7+ years of experience in the field of product compliance and/or stewardship work experience.
  3. 7+ years experience leading technical teams; global team leadership experience is a plus.
  4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  5. Strong Excel database and large dataset skill.
  6. Ability to communicate at all levels of the corporation.
  7. Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering highly desirable.
  8. Experience with managing compliance status via third party regulatory portals.
  9. Experience developing and maintaining compliance with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) including ISO 14001 is strongly preferred.
