Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies,has an immediate opening for a Management Consultant. You will work closely with and support Federal agency clients.Successful candidates should be able to apply analytic methodologies and principles to address client needs; apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives and contribute to the implementation of strategic planning; perform basic consulting functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and performance measurements to support project objectives; conduct activities in support of project objectives; and work closely with each other and with our partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate may be responsible for, among other things:
- Build PowerPoint briefings
- Track action items
- Provide communication support and other operational tasks
- Analyze existing practices of clients and make recommendations for improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, social sciences; public health, health administration, or health policy preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-Bachelor’s degree work experience
- Excellent written and oral communications as demonstrated through internships, course of study, or other experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitely
- Ability to obtain a public trust
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or other advanced degree
- PMP, Prosci or other certification
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or large health systems
- Experience working for a consulting firm
