Mission: The role and mission of the Global Marketing team is to provide our customers and partners with a consistent brand experience and E2E journey. We translate global priorities and initiatives into local operations, delivering effective and measurable action to drive business.


Responsibilities:

The regional scope will be Japan, targeting multiple business segments with the initial focus on the Secure Power segment. Marketing plays an important role as the first contact for many customers, providing product, solution, and service messages. Web, advertising, direct marketing, events, PR, and social media are part of the multiple media utilized to provide information. We also develop sales tools including collateral and customer stories.

Main role is to drive demand generation by combining the most effective channels, e.g., advertising, direct marketing, events, PR, social media, with a focus on digital marketing by designing strategy and plans to execute toward measurable goals for business growth.

The position needs to work collaboratively with different stakeholders including offer marketing, channel marketing, business, commercial operations, and global teams including LoB, as well as derive collaboration among the entire marketing functional team to drive digital transformation in marketing activities.

  1. Planning, executing, and tracking marketing activities including events, digital ads, eDM / SMA programs, and social media, based on the business strategic priorities.
  2. Working with the team to further deploy marketing automation tools to the next level by collaborating with both global and local teams and creating commercial impact by effectively generating quality leads.
  3. Driving digital transformation and increasing digital engagement through activities including the web, ads, online media, social media, and marketing automation.
  4. Maximizing exposure of the Schneider Electric brand (and its associated brands) through owned media, social media, and paid media in collaboration with PR.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Good understanding of marketing and each KPI
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence others.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage day-to-day activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Business-level English mandatory
  • Personal qualities such as self-driven, goal-oriented, multi-tasking, autonomous, and influential.

Preferred:

  • Experience in digital marketing is a plus.
