Vaco is currently seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management:

    • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for (number) employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Implement and maintain payroll systems, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits of payroll data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Prepare payroll reports for management and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Benefits Administration:

    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
    • Conduct benefits enrollment and educate employees on their options and programs.
    • Analyze benefits trends and recommend enhancements to the benefits package.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field - preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, as well as benefits compliance.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
