We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time hybrid position located in our Boston, MA or Burlington, MA office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify employee timesheet data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state laws.
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure taxes, deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related elements are accurately calculated and processed.
- Help investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.
- Assist with benefit file feeds and funding.
- Point of contact for employee pay-related questions / concerns.
- Help complete requests for pay-related documents including pay statements and W2’s.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations and labor laws.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Five years of full-cycle payroll process experience in a multi-state environment is required.
- Certified Payroll Professional or desire to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations.
- Intermediate Office 365 experience required.
- High level attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Associates / bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field a plus.
- UKG experience a plus.
