Job Title: Data Architect DBT

Employment Type: Fulltime with CR

Onsite: Pleasanton/Santa Clara/SFO (3-4 days based on need)

Years of Experience: 10-15 Years

Responsibilities

  1. Implement and deploy net new pipelines in dbt for production environments.
  2. Develop and maintain data models to support business needs.
  3. Utilize advanced dbt techniques, including macros, Jinja coding, dbt packages, and git integration.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  5. Ensure data integrity and reliability through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  6. Optimize performance and scalability of dbt models for efficient data processing.
  7. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in dbt and data modeling techniques.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience with dbt, including implementing and deploying pipelines in production.
  3. Strong proficiency in data modeling and understanding of relational database concepts.
  4. Expertise in advanced dbt techniques such as macros, Jinja coding, dbt packages, and git integration.
  5. Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
