Job Requirements / Description

The HR & Funding Manager oversees all aspects of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Collections. Additionally, this role will handle executive administrative tasks including managing company insurance policies, filings, legal collaborations, and payouts to partners. The Director of HR & Funding will ensure smooth operational processes and align these functions with company goals and compliance requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Manage employee payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that foster a positive work environment and support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and other HR-related legal requirements.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees.
  • Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Coordinate with third-party benefits providers and ensure the benefits offerings meet the needs of employees and align with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and payroll data.
  • Monitor changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance, ensuring the company remains compliant.

Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable / Collections:

  • Manage AR and AP functions, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and manage outstanding receivables.
  • Oversee the collection process and collaborate with the finance team to resolve disputes and minimize payment delays.
  • Ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting of AR/AP activities.
  • Oversee the process of managing partner payouts, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure partner payouts are aligned with contractual agreements.
  • Track and report partner payout data for business insights and strategy development.

Executive Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage company insurance policies, including health, liability, and other corporate insurances, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance.
  • Handle legal filings and ensure the company is in compliance with all relevant regulations and corporate governance requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and legal counsel for contract reviews, compliance, and risk management.
  • Manage the company’s risk profile by maintaining proper insurance coverage and adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee executive-level projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the finance, legal, and executive teams to ensure alignment of HR, funding, and administrative processes with broader company objectives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, including benefits providers, insurance brokers, legal counsel, and financial institutions, to optimize operations and maintain compliance.
  • Ensure accurate communication and reporting to senior leadership regarding HR, payroll, AR/AP, and funding matters.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in HR management, payroll, benefits administration, and financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of AR, AP, collections, and partner payout processes.
  • Familiarity with legal filings, corporate insurance management, and risk compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
