Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:ADULT DAY CENTER MANAGER - FT DAYS - EDDY SENIORCARE (Latham)Narrative:Responsible for managing the daily operation of the Day Center including supervision of staff and operations that support personal care activities, the kitchen and activities. Strong collaboration for daily operations is required with the home care department, therapy, transportation, nursing, social work and medicine. Provides direction of the Eddy SeniorCare (ESC) Day Center including personal care, on-site meals, special events, activities, and volunteer participation. Serves as member of the interdisciplinary team, develops care plans and provides supervision of staff in service delivery. Serves on the quality assurance teams, safety committee and infection control committee. Ensures recommendations from these committees pertinent to the day center are implemented and followed. Assists in ESC's budget development and ensures meeting budget parameters. Provides oversight/supervision of ESC volunteers.Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred with 3 years' experience in related field OR ten years' experience in related field with supervisory experience.Possess a passion for caring for seniors and demonstrate a respectful, caring, professional demeanor.Eddy SeniorCare provides a comprehensive orientation and a supportive, team-based work environment.Pay Range - $30.00 - $41.01Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
