Job Summary

HVAC Regional Sales Director
Our client is the national leader in air handler renewal, seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Southeast region. The Regional Sales Director (RSD) will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales, and his or her primary responsibilities will be to implement effective sales strategies that drive the company sales goals and business objectives in the defined territory. The successful candidate will be a seasoned road warrior, a strategically focused developer of new business, and an effective closer who is driven and motivated. He or she will have proven experience selling to the Federal Government and will reside in the greater ATL or Nashville area with a home-based office. The ideal candidate will embrace our internal sales culture of fostering excitement, success, a sense of urgency, and accountability. He or she should be entrepreneurial at heart, a leader by nature, and demonstrate success as a key contributor to high-performing sales organizations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Solid experience in outside sales and be comfortable traveling within defined territory.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and driving new business opportunities through successful hunting, prospecting, and lead development efforts.
  3. A sound understanding of and proven success in B2B (capital) solution selling.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate meetings and presentations with groups of 3-20 people.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. The ability to effectively build influential relationships with a wide variety of individuals across an organization.
  7. Professional maturity, intelligence, and leadership skills.
  8. A high level of energy, drive, passion, and tenacity.
  9. Defining qualities of outstanding integrity, honesty, and respectfulness.
  10. The ability to think both strategically and analytically, and effectively plan and execute.
  11. The physical ability to climb ladders and measure/take photos of air handling units.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years’ stable sales experience showing progressive growth year after year. Solid knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and Microsoft Office Exchange applications. Experience in HVAC or Facilities Management focused on B2B solution selling. Knowledge of air handling units, indoor air quality, and regulatory compliance is a major plus. Experience selling into higher education, Fortune-level companies, and municipalities/government. A proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
