THE ROLE:

The Sr. Digital Account Manager will play a key role in the following:

  • Client interaction.   You will serve as the main point of contact in all matters relating to your assigned clients including email correspondence, regular account updates, customer concerns and needs, account setup, onboarding, and optimization assistance as well as client meetings, as needed. 
  • Paid search campaign management. You will review accounts weekly and identify positive and negative trends over varied date ranges. Further, you will implement paid search strategies that generate tangible results for your clients. This requires proactively reaching out to the client for feedback on lead quality and internal trends. 
  • Strategy and collaboration.   You will work closely with your clients and lean into your experience to develop strategies to improve account performance. Internally, you will collaborate with teammates and leadership to improve efficiency, client experience, and reporting.
  • Achieving real, tangible results.  You will always put the clients' goals as priority and focus your efforts on value metrics, not vanity metrics. Your communication with your clients will be transparent, setting realistic expectations early while building trusted partnerships with your clients.

MUST HAVES:

  • Applicants with a minimum of 3-5 years of Paid Search / PPC experience 
  • Advanced proficiency in pay per click best practices, in particular within Google Ads and Google Ads Editor
  • Advanced comprehension and ability to build full campaign strategy from initial keyword research to implementation and revision
  • Capable of making strategy and budget recommendations based on analytical review of data
  • In depth industry knowledge of SEM (Search Engine Marketing) - past, present, and especially projected future
  • Ability to shift fluidly from client-facing on mode to analytical mode to creative and planning mode
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • You possess a proactive mindset, a constant curiosity to learn, and you take ownership of your growth. You endeavor to become a master in your field. 
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office & Google Workspace, in particular Google Sheets
  • General awareness of the following tools - Call Rail, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, Slack, and project management tools like Asana, ClickUp, and  
  • Ability to explain Google Ads metrics and strategies without the googlese feel 
  • Complete comfort in front of clients on calls and with recording videos
  • Detailed editing and proofreading skills

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Bachelor's degree; concentration in Marketing a plus
  • Intermediate familiarity with other digital marketing strategies such as SEO, Programmatic, Remarketing, and Social Media
  • Basic familiarity with website editing (specifically Wordpress, Wix, and/or Squarespace)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct strategy research and planning meetings with clients
  • Design and implement new account setup strategy
  • Work with internal team to ensure proper client onboarding
  • Perform weekly account optimizations to ensure proper quality control and results
  • Anticipate potential problems and proactively seek out solutions understanding that you may need to reach beyond your existing knowledge and skill level
  • Respond to higher volume of inquiries and requests from clients and address their needs while always fostering a positive, trusted relationship
  • Ensure client budgets and metrics are met
  • Identify opportunities for growth and discuss pros and cons with clients
  • Generate progress reports mid-month and end of month; includes email and video updates of account performance
  • Meet regularly with clients and other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve results
