Job Description:

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development lifecycle of the RC products, from concepting, to client discovery to development, launch, and continuous improvement. You'll strive to understand our client's needs and pain points and partner with our executive team to continue developing the vision of the RC software. You'll then collaborate closely with our engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that we deliver high-quality software solutions that will benefit customers and Renewance employees alike. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and strong communication skills with the ability to drive quick, iterative product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development:
  • Translate product vision into detailed requirements, roadmap, and deliverables (hands on).
  • Work closely with leadership, engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business and customer impact.
  • (As it becomes available) analyze and integrate both quantitative metrics and qualitative input to arrive at a balanced Product Strategy
  • Project Management:
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Track and report on product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication will be critical throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate product status, key decisions, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present product updates to senior management.
  • Customer/Market Focus:
  • Collaborate with the commercial and operations teams to understand unique market needs, niches, and opportunities.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Work with customer support and sales teams to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Ensure that the product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Marketing and Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Assist in the creation of product marketing materials and sales tools.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on new product features and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS or platform-based products.
  • Should bring a mix of hands-on and strategy-level Product Leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Experience successfully delivering software products in a small/growth stage company.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or others.
  • Experience with the battery/energy, manufacturing, or compliance industries a plus.
