In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated with that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

Join Our Team: We are seeking an International Trade Manager who is not just a compliance expert but a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the high-tech industry. In this role, you will be the linchpin in our efforts to navigate the complexities of international trade.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Spearhead product and technology classification initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulations such as EAR, ITAR, and HTS.
  • Develop and refine export control compliance policies and procedures to encompass all facets of our international operations.
  • Oversee daily export and customs compliance activities, maintaining the highest standards of precision and regulatory adherence.
  • Evaluate licensing requirements, secure and manage export licenses, and perform regular audits to ensure robust technology control plans.
  • Create and deliver customized trade compliance training to empower and educate our dynamic teams.
  • Keep meticulous compliance records and proactively adapt to changes in legislation and regulations.
  • Propel internal process improvements by utilizing compliance solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both government agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A track record of developing and executing compliance policies and educational programs.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of total experience. Experience should include some experience in compliance within the semiconductor, technology, and/or manufacturing sector as well as some experience in international trade laws, such as EAR, ITAR, and/or HTS.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management is a plus.
  • Additional certifications in fields related to engineering or international trade are a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $143,444.00-$214,556.00. Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
