The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing logistics projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all project goals and objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple logistics projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resources, budget estimates, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, and customer service.
- Monitor project progress, identify any potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate project status, updates, and potential challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
- Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing logistics projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
