PURPOSE:
Primarily die repair and in-press trouble shooting
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Requires the ability to use micrometer, calipers and other measurement tools associated with machining.
• Applicants must have experience with maintenance and repair of metal stamping dies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work with close tolerances and be familiar with the metric system.
• Must meet the needs and demands of daily work schedule.
• Able to operate an overhead crane.
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
• Must operate machines in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to set up and operate standard machine shop equipment.
• Some welding experience a plus
• Proven track of good attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-years' experience in Automotive progressive and draw dies for 200--1000 ton presses
• Experience in a stamping facility in die maintenance/repair

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• All candidates offered employment must submit & pass a basic industrial physical, drug screen, audiogram and tetanus shot. This will be paid for by the company and processed at Piedmont Urgent Care in Carrollton Ga.
• Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

• Location: Carrollton, GA
• Type: Full time
• Schedule: 9:00pm - 6:30am
• Start Date: ASAP
