Director Clinical Research

We are working with an exciting clinical research site in Orlando who are seeking an experienced and motivated Director to lead the Patient Engagement Team.

In this key role, you will be responsible for driving patient recruitment and ensuring a continuous pipeline of qualified patients for ongoing clinical trials. The Director will oversee all aspects of patient outreach, including community and event marketing, partnerships with local physicians, and the prescreening process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive patient engagement initiatives to increase patient participation in clinical trials.
• Collaborate with the Site Director to set and achieve screening goals aligned with enrollment targets.
• Lead a team in day-to-day marketing, recruitment, and prescreening activities, ensuring optimal performance and process improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local physicians and community groups to broaden access to diverse patient populations.
• Use performance metrics to improve conversion rates from leads to screens and ensure enrollment diversity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of management experience with proven success in leading teams and driving growth.
• Professional certification (CCRC, CCRP, ACRP-CP) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
