Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement functional programming that promotes independence and choice for all residents of Orlando Group Homes.
  • Utilize assessment tools that support data collection and reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Provide leadership and support to all residential staff.
  • Monitor the implementation, completion, and documentation of all direct care, behavioral training, programming, and physical/nutritional programs/protocols for individuals receiving services.
  • Work with Director to ensure that client funds do not exceed limits. Responsible for purchasing goods/services for residents served.
  • Monitor medication administration and documentation to ensure quality of care for all individuals.
  • Manage needed follow-up for all medical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Agency for Persons with Disabilities regulations. Develop and implement plans of correction as needed.
  • Be available by cell phone/email 24 hours a day as needed to provide support and direction to staff concerning resident care.
  • Conduct appropriate and comprehensive follow-up to all incidents and issues relative to consumer health, safety, and welfare.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained as it relates to staff and consumer issues.
  • Develop and maintain client central files to include Support Plan, Authorization of Services, Individual Progress Plans (IPP), and quarterly progress notes on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure all client files are complete and accurate; perform routine central file review as requested.
  • Coordinate IPP meetings and attend Support Plan meetings, functioning as an effective liaison between programs and individuals.
  • Oversee the implementation of all training programs specific to community-based programs.
  • Act as a liaison with community service providers, families, and funding sources to advocate for individuals served. Maintain a professional and personal demeanor with internal and external customers and members of the public which promotes positive goodwill toward Quest and persons served.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure all services are compliant with applicable Federal and State standards.
  • Attend, participate, and/or conduct all department meetings.
  • Responsible for other duties and special projects as requested by Supervisor.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Human Services or related field required.

Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a related health care field required.

1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.

Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.

Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future.

Ability to:
