* **$35-$39 per hour based on experience and qualifications!******
* Additional hour rate increases for each ASE certification you possess or obtain!
* **Company-paid ASE testing and training materials**
* Annual allowances for boots and prescription safety glasses
* Ongoing company training on state-of-the-art online system utilizing Cummins OEM, Ford OEM and internal training modules
**About the position:**
* Complete preventative maintenance inspections (PM’s).
* Complete Repairs on defects found during a PM
* Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repairs including but not limited to brakes, suspensions, engines, and transmissions.
* Complete repairs on defects noted during daily vehicle inspections-pre-trip inspections (DVI’s)
* Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
**Qualifications for Fleet Diesel Mechanic**
* Valid driver’s license required.
* At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
* Mechanic’s toolset
* ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!
* Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
