Estimator

Victory Woodworks is hiring a Custom Architectural Millworks Estimator. We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual, who loves a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are a highly entrepreneurial, customer-oriented, custom casework and millwork firm.

Responsibilities:

• After determining scope, complete accurate and detailed take offs using Planswift and ProjectPak
• Prepare and present all needed information at the Hand-Off meeting
• Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure quality proposals
• Organize all information necessary for the bidding process, including specifications, plans and a list of the products to be bid, and distribute info to appropriate vendors for bidding.
• Follow up with trade contractors and suppliers to ensure bids are returned in a timely manner

Experience and skills:

• Thorough knowledge of millwork and cabinet related materials and hardware (wood species, veneer, core material, laminate, solid surfacing functional hardware, decorative hardware, countertop materials, glass, finishes, molding, etc.) required
• 3+ years in the High End, Custom, Commercial, Architectural Millworks industry required
• 2+ years Estimating
• Thorough knowledgeable of custom commercial architectural millwork and AWI standards
• Understanding of industry standards and guidelines such as AWI, WI, ADA compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Document Management Software
• Experience with Tradesoft Software (ProjectPak) and Planswift a plus
• Ability to work full-time in our Reno facility
• Ability to work in the US, now and in the future without sponsorship
