What We Are Looking For:
A Senior Environmental Data Management Manager to lead our environmental data management team. This position will play a key role in managing and expanding our data management capabilities within EnSafe's Environmental Information System (EIS) services, which include GIS, modeling, and analytical data management. What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage a team of environmental database managers, providing mentorship and direction.
- Collaborate with technical leads in EnSafe's EIS services, including GIS and modeling, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Manage and develop our EarthSoft's EQuIS environment to meet evolving project needs.
- Oversee data management aspects of large, complex environmental projects, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Ensure data integrity through adherence to best practices, quality control procedures, and standardization across projects.
- Implement and maintain regular updates to regulatory references and ensure compliance with data management standards and security.
- Support internal clients such as project managers and team members, providing data solutions that enhance project delivery.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology) or Computer Science/Information Technology is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a technical or consulting environment.
- Experience with EarthSoft's EQuIS and relational databases is required.
- Experience in GIS, Structured Query Language (SQL), chemistry, and data validation is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities, demonstrating professionalism and resourcefulness.
