A Technology Specialist assists with hardware repairs, device inventory, Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support, and district website maintenance. Additionally the technology specialist will be asked to complete special projects when assigned that will inlude hardware and software installation, and audio/video support. Due to the ever changing technology needs of the school district, the techlogy specialist will need to be engaged with multiple assigned tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

• Performs general troubleshooting and maintenance of computer equipment and networks, including computers, printers and software.
• Installs software and hardware as requested.
• Working knowledge of, Mac OS, Windows OS, and Chrome OS in a networked environment.
• Maintains hardware and device inventory for the district in collaboration with teacher librarians.
• Support individual staff members as requested
• Assists with troubleshooting software and hardware problems as assigned.
• Works with Technology Services staff to resolve difficult problems.
• Assist with the deployment of hardware and software.
• Created knowledge base documentation.
• Provide onsite support at all district locations.

• All other duties as assigned by the Technology Department Supervisor.
