Description

The Branch Manager will be responsible for supervising the efforts of all managers in a single location of a multi-location company, or supervising efforts of several department managers within a single location company. This classification typically has no line work duties within the office, other than those of managing the branch or office activities. The Manager will enable an efficient working environment that allows for the effective and efficient operation of day-to-day office tasks. The Manager will drive their branch or office toward achieving company goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Have a comprehensive understanding of the following:
  2. Companywide Policies, Procedures, Standards, Specifications, Guidelines and Training Programs
  3. Advanced Brightree Functions
  4. Proper Intake Procedures
  5. Insurance Verification and Eligibility
  6. CMN Requirements and Prior Authorizations
  7. Documentation Requirements of the Equipment
  8. Patient’s Financial Responsibilities (Deductible, Co-Insurance, Co-Pay, ABN/Upgrade)
  9. Difference Between Verbal, Written and WOPD orders
  10. Complaint Resolution Procedures
  11. Supervise staff and daily operational management
  12. Ensure quality/appropriateness of service
  13. Implement all policies and procedures which pertain to the operations department, in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines
  14. Assist with job interviews, job descriptions, job evaluations, orientation programs, and continuing staff education and training, and oversee recruitment, evaluation, and selection of personnel to meet specific job descriptions
  15. Help to establish, implement, and monitor personnel practices relating to working hours, conduct while on the job, salary rates, documentation of events, and, when justified, disciplinary action and termination of personnel
  16. Ensure that staff personnel and their skills are commensurate with the needs of the patient population, that staff has and maintains competency to perform prescribed services in an appropriate and responsible manner
  17. Maintain adequate number of personnel to accomplish all operations-related tasks
  18. Enforce and monitor personnel practices as set forth in the company personnel manual
  19. Provide input so that valid revenue forecasts and supporting budgets can be established and maintained and review budget to evaluate performance, make appropriate changes and correct deficiencies. Identify cost-saving measures, including facilities, delivery, personnel, etc.
  20. Must possess the ability to understand the role of budgetary analysis in the running of the branch
  21. Assist in ensuring that adequate planning occurs to meet the needs and appropriate response to the financial and personnel related matters of company operation
  22. Provide a motivational atmosphere for branch/office and lead by example
  23. Identify training needs among staff, and communicate those needs to the company trainer.
  24. Provide training, supervision and implementation for all relevant programs and procedures including, but not limited to, HIPAA and compliance obligations
  25. Able to communicate information relating to equipment, its capabilities and inform on insurance coverage guidelines
  26. Continually strive to develop your knowledge and skills in all areas of your job
