Adobe AEM/CQ5 with Technical Architect

Job Description

11+ years of technology experience required with at least 5 years of recent architecture experience.

1. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience on the Adobe AEM platform with recent experience on AEM 6.2.
2. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in online business/ecommerce/similar high availability transactional systems.
3. Mastery across common artifacts used in common software development lifecycles, such as UML, Entity Relationship, Flow charts, System diagrams, and network diagrams.
4. Proficient with a set of programming and scripting languages, understanding the requirements, strengths, and weaknesses of each.
5. Well versed in enterprise IT operational issues such as clustering, cloud-based solutions, multi-threading, stateless/stateful services, and 24/7 operations.
6. Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
7. Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems.
8. Deep understanding of database design and technology including tuning, normalization, warehousing, data mining, and reporting.
9. Thoroughly versed in web technologies including web services, AJAX, web page generation, and scripting.
10. Diverse hands-on experience leveraging Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) paradigms including infrastructure service options, messaging styles, and canonical design.
11. Conversant with networking technologies and approaches such as routers, firewalls, load balancers, IPS/IDS, VPNs, sub-nets, and DMZs.
12. Experienced with multiple open source and COTS solutions for each architectural tier.
13. Experience integrating ERP and other systems of record (e.g., SAP) with Content Management Systems (e.g., Adobe AEM).
14. Proven ability to work independently; designing, developing, and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time and on budget with minimal direction.
15. Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
17. Excellent teamwork skills.
