Hansell Tierney is assisting our client, a breakthrough renewable energy company, with their search for Technical Project Manager. This position involves supporting our client's innovative projects related to various novel power system technologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Creating and overseeing schedules for our customer-focused projects
  2. Coordinating input on schedules and costs from various stakeholders, including government agencies, the U.S. Department of Energy, National Labs, and contractors
  3. Implementing effective project management methodologies to control project schedules and costs
  4. Developing, implementing, and maintaining baseline schedules and cost structures
  5. Assessing and providing recommendations regarding proposed changes to project schedules and costs
  6. Monitoring and ensuring adherence to baseline schedules and cost requirements by contractors and national labs
  7. Assisting with procurement activities such as document development, acquisition, execution, and contract closure

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of a B.S. degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university, along with at least 6 years of experience in engineering management or project management
  2. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing schedules and costs within the aerospace or nuclear industry
  3. Strong knowledge of baseline change control and configuration management
  4. Preferred certification as a Project Management Professional
  5. Proficiency in MS Project or P6 software
  6. Previous experience managing first-of-a-kind or engineering design projects is highly desirable
  7. Self-motivation and the ability to lead project management efforts with minimal guidance
  8. Capacity to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure in an uncertain environment
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

FLSA Classification: Full-time Employee, Direct Hire

Location: Seattle, WA *Local Candidates Only Please* Onsite Tues, Weds, Thurs. WFH Optional Mon and Fri

Type: Hybrid/Onsite with a flexible schedule; Requires weekly onsite work.

Compensation & Benefits: The estimated salary range for this role is between $125,000 and $175,000 per year. In addition to compensation, there is also a generous benefits package which includes stock options, flexible paid time off, 401k plan with employer match, 16 weeks of paid family leave, annual employee wellness reimbursement and office supply stipend, health care reimbursement, and relocation assistance.
