Senior Tax Accountant - Portland, Oregon #111085Date: Oct 15, 2024Location: PORTLAND, OR, US, 97232Company: PacifiCorpJoin Our Team!PacifiCorp is seeking customer-centric candidates to grow and sustain our commitment to a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion.General PurposeThe senior tax accountant for PacifiCorp is responsible for preparing the Company’s federal, state, and local income tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments, and conducting income tax research and analysis.Responsibilities of this position include the following:Participate as a member of the compliance team to prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns.Tax forecasting and preparation of quarterly federal, state, and local income tax estimated payments.Prepare tax calculations for annual income tax return, annual and quarterly income tax provisions, annual budget and 10-year plan.Provide technical input and recommendations for management.Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.Requirements of this position include the following:Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingSix or more years of related work experience, four of which is in income tax accounting with a certified public accountant designation or a graduate business degree.
