Job Description
The Skier Services department offers a comprehensive ski and snowboard equipment valet service for our guests throughout the ski season. As the Skier Services Manager , you will act as the ambassador for Skier Services and the resort. You will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the Skier Services department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage hiring, training, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members.
- Execute supervisory responsibilities in line with organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Ensure that staff accurately record comprehensive phone messages for Skier Services team.
- Maintain a shift logbook documenting all daily check-ins of equipment.
- Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Coordinate daily duties for support staff.
- Oversee the final output of the schedule.
- Foster interdepartmental communication to ensure accurate information is relayed throughout the resort.
- Address and resolve departmental issues, providing assistance in resolving matters for other Guest Service departments.
- Address and resolve guest concerns effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift ski and snowboard equipment.
- Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner.
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
