• The process of creating skincare, haircare, and makeup products that are safe and effective

• Experience with aerosol cans
• PLM (data entry software - like SAP)

Insight Global is looking for a 9-month contract Aerosol Formulation Scientist for $20 an hour for a client in Allendale, NJ. This person will be joining a growing team of several formulation scientist, who will be cross functionally working with the packaging group to create Aerosol cans for spray sunscreen. This role is perfect for someone who has some professional formulation experience in the personal care setting (skin, hair, makeup, etc).

They will be spending

• 50 percent of their time making formulations of products the client wishes to acquire (sunscreen, haircare (shampoos, perm products) and makeup)
• 40 percent filling aerosol cans by conducting weight measurements
• 10 percent reporting their findings in a lab notebook
