Your primary responsibilities will be to finish, package, and ship jobs to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best.
Packages jobs (band, shrink wrap, box), completes job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary, and places in designated areas
Pull items for fulfillment from inventory and package for shipping
Utilize UPS, FedEx, and our custom software to prepare shipments
Arranges for delivery or shipping of items as needed using shipper designated on work order/job ticket
Perform/complete all finishing requirements for digital press projects according to the job specifications and the workload schedule
Performs bindery function as noted on work order/job tickets, which may include folding, cutting, padding, numbering, punching, spiral or coil binding, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, stitching or stapling, laminating, and wrapping
Keeps equipment clean, lubricated, and operable and calls for service when necessary (with approval of management)
Orders supplies required using proper procedures
Checks jobs for quality and accuracy, notifies management of any variations from standard
Works with other staff members to exceed customer satisfaction and service expectations
Complies with all OSHA safety requirements
Follows systems and procedures according to the company manuals
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a print shop environment preferred but not required. Some of our most successful associates started with zero experience and learned from the ground up!
Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx) a plus
Must be able to move about freely through the center in order to work with other team members and accomplish tasks
Able to stand for long periods of time (up to an entire shift)
Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
