About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Program Director to join our Parry Labs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple programs’ cost, schedule, and performance of direct DOD contracts and B2B subcontracts for DOD primes. The Program Manager will advise on strategic initiatives, opportunities for IRAD investment, and growth opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Use core Program Management skills to oversee management of cost, schedule, and performance of multiple programs.
- Proactively communicate with internal and external leaders throughout the lifecycle of the program.
- Frequently interface with external customer and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work in a collaborative team environment on complex tasks.
- Drive technical excellence by setting program standards and enabling execution.
- Provide overall leadership and direction to a team of program managers.
- Forecast financial performance and maximize award fee/profit.
- Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms and conditions.
- Work with Business Development, Strategy, and Customer Liaisons on growth activities such as proposal development, quoting activities, and visiting customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 10+ years of DOD industry experience
- 10+ years of technical project or program management experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance
- Flexibility and resiliency in dynamic environments
- Experience with earned value management
- Self-directed and able to work independently/remotely
- Preference for PMP certificate
- Preference for ability to support travel up to 30%
