Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer at Axus Technology, you will be working in a fast paced and collaborative environment to maintain and enhance the user interface software for semiconductor processing equipment. This role requires a knowledge of C# programming to develop and maintain the existing WPF application. File I/O and integration with multiple hardware systems is also required. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with other members of the engineering team, technicians, and customers to define requirements and implement the requested functionality.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Duties may include but will not be limited to the following:
- Develop, debug, and modify existing WPF application.
- Develop SECS/GEM factory automation software.
- Develop and test code that interfaces with multiple different hardware components such as PLCs, Metrology Units, and Thermo Chillers.
- Effectively communicate with customers, technicians, and engineers to determine software requirements.
- Complete software testing, code reviews, and software releases.
- Proficient in C# or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Familiar with WPF development.
- Must be able to meet time sensitive objectives.
- Ability to carry out work assignments without supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain a regular work schedule.
- Punctual attendance consistent with our company policy.
