The Strategic Account Executive role will report into the VP of GTM at Activeloop Deep Lake, focusing on expanding our presence in the Generative AI sector. Our team is tasked with selling to organizations involved in developing foundation models like Llama2, DALL-E 3, GPT-4. Our target clients range from AI research labs such as Intel, Airbus, Matterport to enterprise B2B firms integrating generative AI into their offerings. This role demands:
- Comprehensive knowledge of AI and data, coupled with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in clear, concise language.
- Proficiency in handling multi-threaded sales cycles, engaging both technical and business stakeholders at the executive level.
- A proven track record in both acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones.
- Collaborative work with Activeloop Deep Lake's Executive Leadership, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure client success.
Responsibilities Include
- Collaborating with the Director of Strategic Accounts to develop and execute GTM and revenue strategies for your accounts.
- Employing a solution-oriented approach to deliver value to customers.
- Coordinating with various teams to maximize impact on your portfolio.
- Fostering value in all interactions to facilitate successful deal closures.
- Acting as the primary contact for escalations and creating contingency plans.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, fostering ongoing partnerships and growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-6+ years in B2B sales or solutions engineering.
- Experience in strategizing to scale revenue through early product development.
- 3+ years in Solution Sales with a history of selling and closing complex solutions to enterprise and software companies, dealing in multimillion-dollar transactions.
- 3+ years selling technical products to a technical audience (ML engineers, data scientists, data engineers).
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously address business and technical audiences.
- Consistent achievement of sales quotas.
- Expertise in leading sales processes from prospecting to deal closure.
- Passion for sales, creativity, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in sales process and system tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, Clari, Gong).
- Strong consultative relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and presenting executive-level materials.
Compensation Includes
- Competitive base salary (range $120,000 - $144,000 depending on location and experience) plus commissions.
