Senior Meeting Planner

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Meeting Planner to join the administrative team at one of the most prestigious global law firms in the world!

The Senior Meeting Planner will be responsible for designing and executing creative, sophisticated events, while also handling a high volume of daily tasks and managing numerous last-minute requests and orders.

The role will be fully onsite in NYC, 9:30-5:30, Monday through Friday, with some overtime expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, facilitate and implement a wide range of meetings, conferences, seminars, and special events hosted by the firm
• Handle numerous last-minute requests and orders
• Demonstrate agility and flexibility in delivering exceptional event experiences.
• Utilize technology and conference booking systems to streamline event logistics
• Negotiate and liaise with vendors and internal departments
• Communicate with catering teams to select menu options
• Assist the team supervisor with training and guidance for the team
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guests attending events
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather useful feedback from attendees and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business, or a related field is required
• 5+ years of experience in conference services and event planning from within a corporate or law firm environment
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• 5 + years of experience with vendor management and budgeting.
• Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with event planning technology and conference booking systems
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional holiday and weekends
