The Territory Sales Manager will be overseeing a Northwest region and monitors/directs the sales efforts, representative activities, competitive activities and customer activities in that region. Develops strategies for the region with the goal of meeting or exceeding budgeted sales expectations. Actively monitors and communicates activities in the region to personnel. In this role you will need to be willing to travel up to 50% of the time with majority of the visits in the Bay area. Candidates must reside in CA, WA, OR, MT, or ID and be near a major airport. The position offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and revenue by identifying potential clients in the medical, aerospace, defense, and manufacturing industries.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to continually meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Utilize your technical aptitude to understand our products and services, demonstrating them effectively to potential clients.
  • Develop pricing structures that are competitive and beneficial to our business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Use your negotiation and closing skills to secure sales deals.
  • Manage your territory effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Keep accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the management about sales trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred. In the absence of a degree, 10+ years of experience in the medical, electronics, or defense industry with applications development experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of coatings sales experience.
  • Experience with conformal coatings.
  • Experience selling services to engineers in the medical, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving results.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Able to develop effective sales strategies and demonstrate products effectively.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed in sales.
  • Experience in territory management.
  • Competitive nature and a strong desire to succeed.
