Technology Manager
• Support Strategy & Technology lead in execution of ‘Strategic Planning’ and ‘management process’ in the area of Technology Strategy development and execution.
• Support the business acquisition process and Pursuit Teams as required.
• Responsible for the Business Unit’s (BU) technology strategy and execution, including creation of technology and product roadmaps.
• Responsible for BU IRAD planning utilizing the Harris IRAD portfolio management tool.
• Communicate expectations for strong and compelling IRAD business cases that align with Strategic goals and the Business development Pipeline.
• Oversight of IRAD budget and establishing quarterly IRAD reviews.
• Ensure the IRAD portfolio is included in and follows the Checkpoint process, tracking the progress of IRADs through the process, ensuring that required data artifacts and checkpoint reviews occur.
• Plan and execute the Strategic IRAD process.
• Develop a Technology outreach and Innovation program across Harris and extending to external stakeholders such as universities and small businesses.
Minimum Requirements:
10+ to 15 years experience.
Management Experience Required - Yes.
Minimum Education - Master's Degree.
Willingness to Travel - Occasionally.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
MSEE with a background in systems engineering within the aerospace & defense industry.
Experienced in technology innovation and strategic IRAD processes aligned to market research and what products within the market yield greatest ROI.
