POSITION SUMMARY:

Development and implementation of the marketing strategic plan, including new target market development, public relations/referent development and coordination, development of product line, and promotion and representation of Bella Monte Recovery Center.


CORE COMPETENCIES:

  1. Develops, executes, and manages documented marketing strategic plan strategies.
  2. Coordinates with the Program Director the development and management of the marketing program and marketing-related issues.
  3. Participate in the development of marketing plans.
  4. Create pitch letters, news releases, and internal and external newsletters on a quarterly basis.
  5. Secure business agreements with target organizations, programs, insurance, and managed-care companies.
  6. Network and partnership with local & national service providers for special events.
  7. Organize conference activities and upgrading of exhibitors' displays.
  8. Responsible for the overall implementation of marketing plans, media relations efforts, promotional activities through media resources, promotion of public & promotional events, new releases, feature stories, television shows, special events for college campuses, workshops, website upgrading, promotional letters to service providers, professional referents, target audiences, investigate and report and implement additional methods to support Bella Monte Recovery Center visibility at a local and national level, research & report availability of search engine visibility.
  9. Develop a database of professional referents beyond the existing Bella Monte Recovery Center database.
  10. Support and collaborate with other Bella Monte Recovery Center marketing representatives to ensure the execution of other general marketing duties; i.e. assisting in the development of professional service relations, direct marketing activities, conferences, and referent follow-ups.
  11. Maintains a working knowledge of the facility’s administrative and clinical operation of the programs.
  12. Provides information regarding eating disorders in response to local and national requests for information, conferences, presentations, and interactions with professional referents.
  13. Develops and maintains an organized database of current and potential referral sources.
  14. Develops and promotes educational and marketing seminars, lectures, workshops, websites, online activities, and professional newsletters.
  15. Develops, implements, and facilitates outreach workshop programs.
  16. Submits monthly reports consisting of weekly marketing activities that will include daily marketing visits, calls, follow-ups, correspondence, and networking functions. A quarterly report will be submitted summarizing monthly reports, demographics, and referral data.
  17. Assists clinical team on the referral of discharging guests.
  18. Implements business agreements with professional networks as necessary.
  19. Participates as a team player in the Bella Monte Recovery Center staff milieu.
  20. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A Baccalaureate degree or Master's Degree is preferred.
  2. A knowledge base for the disease concept of anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders, as well as treatment issues.
  3. Two (2) years of experience in the area of administration and marketing management are required.
  4. The ability to work cooperatively with multi-disciplinary staff.
  5. Demonstrated skills in the area of public speaking and professional writing.
