Lightspeed US Tech Center - Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager for Tencent Games central team will support a wide variety of projects across the organization, assignments will range from R&D collaboration, production support, operation, to partnership management.

1. Manage various projects and collaborate with global R&D and production teams as directed by senior leadership.
2. Gather requirements for work effort from project stakeholders, define project scope and road map goals with scheduled tasks.
3. Communicate schedules, updates, status, major decisions, risks, and blockers.
4. Coordinate, track, and manage project activities to ensure that project tasks are completed on time, within scope, and at acceptable quality.
5. Help identify and resolve pain points, streamline workflow, and define best practices within the organization.
6. Be an ambassador, building and maintaining long-term relationships with various industrial partners.
7. Deliver market and industrial research to support business decision making.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above.
2. 2+ years working experience in video gaming production or related industry.
3. 1+ years managing projects utilizing formal project management techniques and tools.
4. Abilities and experience of working with global and multicultural teams.
5. Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
6. Working knowledge of project management tools with hands-on experience in setting up projects and reports, including Gantt charts and dashboards.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Able to work under pressure and find solutions to multiple and varying needs.

Pluses:

1. Previous experience with video gaming product development, publishing, marketing, or operation.
2. Established industrial connections with developers, publishers, console, and devices manufacturers, service, and solution providers.
3. Writing and speaking ability in Mandarin.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $105,600 to $219,600 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
