Job Requirements / Description
Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA/DCFSA, retirement, employee smart savings card and other perks
  • Process and track employee enrollment, changes, and terminations in various benefit plans
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant laws
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, such as plan details, eligibility, and claims
  • Assist employees with the enrollment process and guide them in making informed benefit choices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits data
  • Generate and distribute reports related to benefits enrollment, costs, and participation
  • Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Stay informed about changes in benefits regulations and ensure that benefit plans are updated to remain compliant
  • Assist with compliance testing, documentation, and reporting as necessary.
  • Lead the planning and execution of open enrollment periods, including communication to employees, presentation of benefit options, and tracking of selections
  • Coordinate with HR team and external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient open enrollment process
Qualifications / Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role
  • Proficiency in benefits software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance is plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
