Position Opportunity
Through a broad scope of knowledge and a proactive, relational approach, our People & Culture Business Partner will consult with business units to facilitate the effective leadership and care of our people, throughout the team member life cycle. The People & Culture Business Partner will serve as the primary point of contact for our business units and will be responsible for a variety of critical functions, including but not limited to, the management of complex employee relations issues, leadership development, leave management, performance management, and team member engagement. As a key member of our team, the People & Culture Business Partner will collaboratively work with leaders across the organization to foster and promote the engagement of the business's core values at all levels.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred. High school degree and equivalent experience required. Human Resources certification preferred.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Provides human resources consultation and support to designated, multi-state business units to define and execute P&C strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives.
- Utilize knowledge of various P&C functions to provide tactical support to line managers, providing support for managers in development of employees, documentation of employee performance, corrective action plans, performance reviews, and disciplinary action.
- Provide guidance to convert strategies into result-driven actions.
- Provides change management support as needed.
- Build strong relationships with management and employees through a highly consultative and collaborative approach; positioning People & Culture as a credible, go-to department.
- Act as a dedicated champion for the organizational health and effective culture of partner business units: proactively listen to issues arising from workforce, discern trends/shifts in engagement, and provide recommendations related to engagement strategy, workforce planning, leadership development and other critical elements to organizational health.
- Serve as a reliable partner for our managers by providing counsel on company policies, employee issues and discipline, employee changes and risk mitigation.
- Perform an active role in providing conflict resolution; work on resolving complex or high-risk conflicts with assistance from Manager, People & Culture Business Partner.
- Manage leave of absences to ensure full compliance with FMLA, CFRA and PDL.
- Maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
- Collaborates with other P&C leaders and functions (talent acquisition, benefits/compensation) in the interest of advancing P&C goals and initiatives.
- Provides guidance and develops junior members of the P&C team.
- Champion an impactful, engaging culture by demonstrating alignment between our practices and values.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- All other duties as assigned by direct management.
Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred. High school degree and equivalent experience required. Human Resources certification preferred.
Related Experience:
- Four (4) to Six (6) years of well-rounded HR experience with at least two (2) years of experience in functional HR roles or HR Business Partner experience.
- Multi-site location client support experience a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant labor laws and practices.
- Previous experience in coaching employees and management through complex, difficult issues.
- Proven and successful problem-solving experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbal and written. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
- Keen discernment and emotional intelligence in gauging legal risk and cultural impact of decisions.
- Ability to engage with people at all levels of the company with diverse backgrounds.
- High discretion and professionalism.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be able to perform above listed duties/responsibilities in the field and cleanroom facilities.
- Must be able to travel to other locations (~20%).

- The pay for this position has a salary of $75,000 to $82,500 annual. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
